The Académie Rainier III warmly invites you to its traditional Music Gala, an evening dedicated to the world of jazz aesthetics with orchestration for a full symphony orchestra.

In the first half, four outstanding solo students will perform alongside the prestigious Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, taking the audience on a journey through a century of music. Symphonic melodies, brass virtuosity, and vocal performances will follow one another, including an excerpt from the soundtrack of the film Catch Me If You Can, composed by the legendary John Williams. To conclude this first part, pianist Shani Diluka, artist in residence at the Académie Rainier III, will bring together on stage her piano and chamber music class, along with students from the Academy’s piano department.

The second half of the evening will offer a true dialogue between cultures: from the rhythmic pulse of the metal taps fixed to tap dance shoes to the grace of operatic singing accompanied by instrumental music. Ensembles and orchestras will come together on stage for a finale that is as eclectic as it is moving.

A unique evening, driven by the talent and dedication of the students and teachers of the Académie Rainier III.
