Silvia PENEVA-GHERGHINCIU

First prize for viola at the Higher Academy of Music in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1986, and in the same year became principal viola with the Sofia Chamber Orchestra.

In 1989, she became principal viola with the Orchestre Symphonique d'Europe and then co-soloist with the Orchestre Symphonique du Rhin, Mulhouse. Since 1993 she has taught viola at the Conservatoire National Régional de Nice and since 2015 also at the Académie Rainier III.
