Sibylle SCHUETZ-CARRIERE

After passing the "Staatliche Musiklehrerprüfung" for viola da gamba at the Nuremberg College of Music, she moved to the South of France, where she studied with Sylvie MOQUET in Aix-en-Provence. During her studies, she worked with Christophe COIN, Wieland KUIJKEN, Marianne MULLER, Paolo PANDOLFO and Jordi SAVALL.

Based in Nice, she has been teaching viola da gamba at Monaco's Académie de Musique et de Théâtre Rainier III since 2016. She is a member of the S.M.A.N. ensemble (Société de la Musique Ancienne de Nice), of which she has been president since 2015, and works regularly with local artists.
