Mandolin teacher


Martine Favergeaud learnt to play the violin at the age of 12, and at the same time took up the mandolin. It was to the mandolin that she finally made her choice. She obtained her diplomas and became a mandolin teacher at the Académie Rainier III in 1985.

Creator of the Académie Rainier III's young musicians' plectrum orchestra, she is also a member of the 'Les Solistes de Monte-Carlo' music group, and participates in numerous concerts with this ensemble. Martine Favergeaud has also played mandolin with the Monte-Carlo and Nice Orchestras.
