Marie-Claire BERT
Recorder teacher
First Prize at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Genève in 1982, she obtained the Diplôme du Centre de Musique Ancienne de Genève the same year, and was a prizewinner at the Hurtebise International Recorder Competition. After completing a baccalauréat in science, she studied psychology at the University of Grenoble.
Guest performer and teacher at numerous festivals and universities: Jerusalem, Schwetzingen, Fez, Kuwait, Leptis Magna (Libya), Prague, Barcelona.
She founded and directed the Ensemble de la Société de Musique Ancienne de Nice from 1990 to 2003. During the same period, she set up and directed the Centre Régional de Musique Ancienne de Cannes.
Since 1983, she has taught recorder and chamber music at the Prince Rainier III Academy in Monaco.
