Jade SAPOLIN
Director of the Rainier III Academy
Jade Sapolin, a musician by training (1st prize for cello and chamber music from the City of Paris, 1st prize for cello at the Conservatoire National de Région d'Aubervilliers, eligible for the CNSMD de Lyon), began her professional career as a cellist. A few years later, she decided to set up an administrative structure to manage cultural projects for the performing arts, with which she supported a number of renowned musical ensembles and festivals, as well as a Foundation dedicated to young students taking part in masterclasses led by international soloists.
She managed this structure for ten years, and then decided to join the Prizma School of Music, Dance, Painting and Theater in Boulogne Billancourt as Assistant Director, attracted by the idea of artistic transmission and teaching.
On the strength of this experience, Jade Sapolin was recruited in July 2020 to take over as Director of the Conservatoire de Musique de Bois-Colombes (800 students).
Since her appointment as Director of the Académie Rainier III de Monaco in September 2020, Jade Sapolin has ensured the school's pedagogical continuity by structuring face-to-face and/or videoconferencing classes on several sites in the Principality during the double hurdle of covid and building work.
During this transitional period, she was able to work with the teaching staff to develop the Academy's pedagogical project, currently under development.
She also contributed to the design and implementation of the new building, which opened its doors in September 2021.
