Héloïse HERVOUET

A Frenchwoman born in Monaco, Héloïse Hervouët is one of the most brilliant artists of the new generation. She is described by the press as follows: “A talented and imaginative pianist with a sensitive and passionate style” or “her extraordinary ear for sound allows her to express the very essence of music through her fingers.”

The pianist has been invited to perform at prestigious festivals, including: Les Nuits Romantiques du Bourget, Attersee Klassik in Austria, Alghero in Sardinia, GoldHerbst in Pforzheim, Germany, Musique à la Cour in Solliès-Pont, Piano à Levens, the Menton Festival, Classicaval in Val d’Isère, and others. She has also performed at the Chorégies d’Orange, the Radio France Festival in Montpellier, the Printemps des Arts in Monte Carlo, and as part of the Monte Carlo Opera season. Her concert tours take her to perform both in her home region—the French Riviera—and throughout Europe, South America, and the United States. Passionate about chamber music, Héloïse Hervouët collaborates with distinguished musicians: Thierry Amadi, Sibylle Duchesne, David Lefèvre, Liza Kerob, Andreas Ottensamer, Tibor Kovàc, Andrey Yaroshinskiy, Edouard Sapey-Triomphe, Fabrice Pierre, Mariam Adam, Bernard Soustrot, and others. She is also a guest member of The Philharmonics, an ensemble composed of soloists from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. For nearly twenty years, she has collaborated with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and its musicians as a soloist, concert pianist, and chamber musician. While this opportunity has allowed her to work with the most renowned international artists, she has also participated in various tours and recordings for the OPMC’s label.

A major success for a passionate musician, ABÉLARD, the crossover duo she founded in 2019—and which she now performs with pianist Yolande Kouznetsov—was invited to open for the German band Rammstein on four global stadium tours. She performed in no fewer than 91 shows alongside the famous German industrial metal band in some 30 countries, performing for more than 4 million spectators. ABÉLARD’s tribute album, “Rammstein On Piano,” was released in the spring of 2023 on Decca Records – Universal Music France.

Introduced to music at the age of five at the Prince Rainier III Academy of Music in Monaco, she immediately demonstrated exceptional talent under the guidance of her teacher, Laurent Alonso. At the age of 14, she made her solo debut with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and was awarded a prize for interpretation at the Ludmila Kneskova-Hussey International Competition in Canada the following year.

She graduated (with unanimous honors and high praise from the jury) from the Prince Rainier III Academy of Music in Monaco at the age of 16. She received the same distinction a few years later at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, where she studied successively with Fernando Rossano and Christophe Bukudjian. She was also awarded the Lions Club International Prize.

Admitted unanimously to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in 2006, she studied with Géry Moutier and Hélène Bouchez, then with Jean-Claude Pennetier, François-René Duchâble, and Gilead Mishory. She earned a First Prize in piano (DNESM—with “Very Good” honors) in 2010. A scholarship from the Princess Grace Foundation in Monaco gave her the opportunity to further her training in the United States with Ann Schein for three consecutive years at the Aspen Music Festival and School. She is also a scholarship recipient from SOGEDA and the Turquois Foundation in Monaco, which has allowed her to benefit from the guidance of great masters such as Bruno Rigutto, Boris Berezovsky, Brigitte Engerer, Olivier Gardon, Jacqueline Robin, Pierre Reach, Ilana Vered, and Patrick Zygmanowski. She was also selected by BSI Bank, the CNSMD in Lyon, and the Menton Festival to participate in master classes with Aldo Ciccolini and Stephen Kovacevitch.

Holding a Certificate of Proficiency and a Master’s degree in Music Education, Héloïse Hervouët is a piano professor at the Prince Rainier III Academy in Monaco.
