Concert as part of Mirella Vedeva Ruaux's double bass Masterclass

ACADEMIE RAINIER III

1, Bd Albert 1er | 98000 Monaco

As part of the masterclass led by Mirella Vedeva Ruaux, Daniele Arena's double bass students will present the results of their artistic efforts on stage, in the presence of Noé Constant, double bass teacher at the Conservatoire de Nice.

Mirella Vedeva Ruaux,

Mirella Vedeva Ruaux won a Prix de Virtuosité at the Geneva Conservatoire in Franco Petracchi's class. She has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève and the Amsterdam Sinfonietta.

Quickly turning to teaching, in 1997 she created the class for "junior double bassists" at the Accademia d'Archi, and in 1998 became double bass teacher at the Geneva Conservatory of Music, where she also assists Franco Petracchi. Since 2007, she has been teaching at the Bachelor's and Master's levels at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, and in 2014 opened the Neuchâtel class. She regularly gives masterclasses throughout Europe, Asia and Israel.

As a soloist and chamber musician, her repertoire ranges from Baroque to contemporary music, with a particular interest in Nino Rota and Armando Trovajoli. Curious and eclectic, she collaborates with tango musicians, dancers and actors, and created the French version of Franco Petracchi's La Contrebasse en quête d'amour. Since 2000, she has conducted the CMG Symphonique orchestra at the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
