The Academie Rainier III is in residence at the Espace Léo Ferré for the " Academie Days " , as part of the Cuban music masterclass, the " Acento Cubano " trio - Michelle Rodriguez-Virosta (flute), Veronica Romero-Saez (piano) and Abraham Mansfarroll-Rodriguez (percussion) - offer a concert exploring the Cuban repertoire, from classical music of the XIXᵉ century to traditional and popular music of the XXIᵉ century, with over one hundred students of the academy.

The fruit of African, Spanish and European influences, Cuban music has given rise to many emblematic genres. The Folia Cubana project brings students and teachers together to explore this tradition in a festive and creative way. The study of rhythm, the central element of this music, helps to better understand its structure and to develop the expressiveness of the performers.
