The Prince Pierre Foundation was created on February 17, 1966 by H.S.H. Prince Rainier III, in tribute to the memory of His Father, Prince Pierre, a great patron of letters and the arts. Today presided over by H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, the Foundation's mission is to promote contemporary creativity. H.S.H. The Sovereign Prince awards several prizes, on the recommendation of three councils - literary, musical and artistic - made up of internationally renowned personalities.
In collaboration with the Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation,
Since 2011, our cultural institutions have been collaborating on various educational projects aimed at raising awareness of contemporary music and its history among young musicians.
On the basis of a list proposed by the Musical Council, our primary and junior high school students in the CHAM (classes à horaires aménagés musique) program form a jury and vote for the winner of the "Coup de Cœur des Jeunes Mélomanes".
The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, to be held on Tuesday October 13 at 8pm, in the Salle Garnier at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
