Inauguration of the Marc César SCOTTO auditorium

ACADEMIE RAINIER III

1, Bd Albert 1er | 98000 Monaco

On Monday October 20, H.S.H. Prince Albert II inaugurated the new auditorium at the Academie Rainier III, now named " Marc César SCOTTO ", in tribute to the former Director of the Academy (from 1941 to 1960) and also a famous Monegasque conductor and composer.

In the presence of H.E. Mr. Christophe Mirmand, Mgr Dominique-Marie David, Mr. Jean-Louis Grinda, Vice-President of the Conseil National, Mayor Georges Marsan, members of the Conseil Communal and numerous officials, the ceremony marked a new stage for the establishment.

Completely renovated between September 2024 and October 2025, this 75-seat space, designed to meet the Academy's pedagogical and artistic requirements, bears witness to the collaboration between the Government of Monaco and Monaco City Council.

With this renovation, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to excellence in artistic education and the Principality's cultural influence.
