After the National Anthem 🇮🇩 sung by the Children's Choir, Karyn Ardisson Salopek, Deputy Mayor in charge of Culture and Delegate to the Rainier III Academy, began her speech by pointing out that 2022 had been a very eventful year, marked as it was by the centenary of the School of Music. This year, the school welcomed 813 students, including a student in piano class who will join the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in September, a student in violin class who will be admitted to the Conservatoire Supérieur de Turin, a student in cello class who will join the Pôle Supérieur Musical de Brest and a student in vocal class who will join the Institut Supérieur de Musique d'Aix-en-Provence.

Jade Sapolin, Director of the Académie Rainier III, then congratulated all the students and teachers before announcing the winners. A total of 51 students were honored for the quality of their work and their excellent results, but also for their commitment throughout the year to the various missions set by the Académie.

The ceremony, punctuated by clarinet, accordion and double bass music, followed the Academy's centenary celebrations and the traditional gala concert held on June 15 at the Auditorium Rainier III in the presence of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover.
