Awards ceremony
MONACO TOWN HALL
Pl. de la Mairie | 98000 Monaco
In the late afternoon of Thursday June 27, 2024, the Rainier III Academy's Awards Ceremony took place in the Cour d'Honneur of the Town Hall, in the presence of Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy, the Principality's highest authorities, numerous donors and members of the Town Council.
The ceremony began with an accordion and double bass ensemble performing a piece by David Venitucci, before Karyn Ardisson Salopek, Deputy Mayor representing him, in charge of Culture and Delegate to the Rainier III Academy, took the floor.
In her speech, she emphasized that the Conseil Communal has made it a priority to support and promote access to culture for all, and to do everything in its power to ensure that everyone enrolled at the Académie Rainier III and the Ecole Supérieure d'Arts Plastiques can cultivate and develop their talents and achieve excellence in optimal learning conditions.
Jade Sapolin, Director of the Académie Rainier III, then congratulated all the students and teachers, before announcing the winners in order of importance of the diplomas: this year, a total of 56 students were honored for the quality of their work and their excellent results. The Headmistress then called on a number of particularly deserving students to present them with awards in recognition of their educational achievements and commitment throughout the year.
The ceremony ended as it had begun, with a second piece by David Venitucci performed by the accordion and double bass ensemble.
The event rounded off the awards ceremonies held throughout June in the Cour d'Honneur of Monaco's City Hall.
