The theme of this 28th edition of the European Heritage Days is :

"LIVING HERITAGE

Rooted in a long, centuries-old history, the Principality of Monaco boasts a remarkable cultural heritage.
The vitality of its heritage is expressed through traditions, gastronomy, the performing arts, dance and song handed down from generation to generation. Cultural players, both professional and associative, contribute to preserving today's heritage and passing on to future generations what tomorrow's heritage will be. On the occasion of these Days, they open their doors and invite us to discover their sites, which bear witness to the richness and diversity of Monaco's heritage.

The Principality has been taking part in the European Heritage Days since 1996. Initiated jointly by the Council of Europe and the European Union, this event is now celebrated by more than 50 European countries, which welcome nearly 30 million visitors every year. They have been organized since 2018 by the Institut du Patrimoine, under the aegis of the Direction des Affaires Culturelles.
The success of this event relies on the commitment of its participants, whose involvement has once again enabled us to offer you a rich program.
We'd like to thank them all.
